The Long Beach Unified School District’s Youth Employment Network marked the tenth year of its annual Interview Bootcamp recently at the Lakewood Mall, where 40 business partners conducted job interviews with more than 100 LBUSD students.
As part of the school district’s effort to help prepare all students for success in college and careers, more than 540 interviews were scheduled, with each student participating in four to eight interviews.
The Youth Employment Network focuses on helping high school students and graduates successfully transition from school to the business environment. For more information, call the school district’s Transition Partnership Program at 986-6870, ext. 262.
