The Nutrition Services Branch is committed to promoting healthy food choices through school meals and nutrition education for the students of Long Beach Unified School District. Our team of food and nutrition professionals is dedicated to providing students with nutritious meals to support their academic success.
Free lunches are available for children at Smith Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary!
Smith Elementary Lunches will be served April 13 to 24, 2015.
Roosevelt Elementary Lunches will be served April 13 to May 1, 2015.

Did you know that there are many benefits to eating breakfast? Studies have shown that eating breakfast, especially breakfast at school, has a positive effect on a students' overall dietary health. Evidence also shows that eating breakfast has a positive effect on academics. So remember to take time for a delicious breakfast at school to fuel your body and mind!
