The primary function of the CAC is to advise the Long Beach Unified School District on special education programs and services. The CAC monitors the needs of special education students by gathering information from concerned parents, teachers, and administrators at CAC meetings and events. The CAC is a voluntary organization committed to maintaining and developing high quality programs for the school district.
Anyone can join the CAC and membership is free. There is no previous experience or prior knowledge necessary, just a commitment to providing students and their families with the best resources and highest quality education available.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month except in July and December. Please call the CAC voicemail at (562) 997-8000 ext. 5041 for updated information.
