Homework   top of page

The Summer Enrichment Program has a no homework policy.  However, we fully expect children to be so brimming with excitement about their class that the enthusiasm for class projects may spill over into the home.

Discipline    Top of page

Each teacher will send home a friendly teacher letter on the first day of class.  This letter will introduce the teacher and his/her expectations. It will include the Tincher phone number to call in case of absence.  Respect for self, others, materials and equipment will be expected. The teacher may include an invitation for parents to attend a culminating activity.

Each teacher will establish a 4-step discipline plan to include:

  • a warning

  • an in class consequence

  • a conference with child and program specialist

  • a conference with parent and classroom teacher

We will designate playground areas and adhere to the playground rules established by Tincher School.
