LBUSD seeks qualified individuals to serve on the independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee for the implementation of the Measure K School Facilities Bond program. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 23.
Voters within the school district approved Measure K in November 2008. The $1.2 billion bond measure authorizes funding for needed repairs, upgrades and new construction projects within LBUSD. The Citizens’ Oversight Committee monitors Measure K expenditures and is required by state law.
