Register for Summer Enrichment

The Golden Bell Award-winning Summer Enrichment Program, now in its fourteenth year, will be held at Carver Elementary School this summer. Children entering first through eighth grades are eligible to attend this fee-based program held in three-week sessions from June 23 to July 10 and from July 14 to July 31.

Classes in music, art, cooking, Spanish and more are taught by credentialed Long Beach Unified School District staff and are held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost for each three-week session is $280 or less (early and sibling discounts available).

Recreation supervision is included at no additional charge for those enrolled in the program. Recreation hours are from 8 to 9 a.m. and from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays from June 27 to July 25.

New this year are classes for first through third grade students who are currently enrolled in Spanish dual immersion programs.

Summer Enrichment is managed by LBUSD’s School for Adults.
