An exhibit of artwork created by local high school students will continue through May 27 at the Long Beach Museum of Art, located at 2300 E. Ocean Blvd.
The museum recently held an opening reception for the exhibition, “Voices of the Next Generation.” More than 300 works of art were submitted by Long Beach Unified School District high school students, and 75 of the pieces were selected for the annual exhibit in the Toyota Children’s Gallery.
Participating schools are Avalon, Cabrillo, Jordan, Lakewood, McBride, Millikan, Poly, Renaissance and Wilson high schools.
