Several students from Cabrillo High School’s Academy of Global Logistics program recently attended the Metrans International Urban Freight Conference held in Long Beach.
The students in attendance had the opportunity to meet transportation professionals and learn more about the common responsibilities in global logistics and supply chain roles.
The Academy, which has a long-standing partnership with the Port of Long Beach, builds on the Long Beach College Promise by introducing high school students to career opportunities in global trade and logistics and showing them how to prepare for those careers through a wide range of training and education programs.
